Required Skills and Abilities:
-Previous front desk management experience required.
-Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
-Effective problem solving skills to resolve guest related issues and defuse challenging situations.
-High level of comfortability in working with computers and basic mathematical skills required for cash handling, Microsoft Word programs, and hotel Opera system.
-Previous IHG/Crowne Plaza experience a plus.
-Flexible availability to work AM shifts and PM shifts, weekends and holidays.
Job Description:
-Foster a creative and energetic work environment where team members are appreciated and valued.
-Assist with interviewing, conduct department onboarding and train all new hires.
-Manage front desk and night audit staff, resolve employee related problems and recommend discipline and/or termination when appropriate.
-Respond to guest’s requests, inquires and needs and accommodate to ensure optimal levels of guest satisfaction.
-Perform brand and corporate related duties to ensure guidelines, policies and procedures are in compliance and consistently practiced.
-Conduct performance reviews and address performance issues with front desk and night audit staff.
-Establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, guests and patrons.
-Work closely with Director of Operations and establish strong rapport with all operations department heads and ensure effective communication.
