What are the responsibilities and job description for the Van Driver - Seasonal position at Crescent Hotels & Resorts?
To transport hotel guests to and from the hotel within five mile radius during their stay; Contribute to the guest experience by making it easier and more enjoyable for guest to arrive, check in and stay at the property.
Complete mileage logs per trip; submit logs to Manager daily
Drives incoming/departing hotel guests between hotel and approved destinations and assists guests with luggage
Attends and participates in monthly front desk and driver meetings.
Inspects van to ensure that it is in order and that supplies are adequate. Reports damage, accidents or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor.
Complete and submits daily vehicle inspection and guest count checklists
Offers information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest and entertainment attractions. Answers questions related to hotel and local attractions
Delivers messages, maintaining bell carts, returns bell carts in parking lot and from guest floors
Maintains courtesy van consisting of washing, cleaning, and fueling
Maintains lobby in a clean and tidy manner; this includes, but is not limited to ashtrays, trash, seating areas, front doors, floors, etc.
Maintains the front port-cochere by picking up trash, cleaning oil leaks, shoveling snow, melting ice, hosing off sidewalks etc.
Physical Requirements:
Sitting for extended period of time
Will be using radios and cellphone most of the time
Frequent standing and walking
Lift & carry up to 50 pounds
