Irrigation/Lighting Crew Lead

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must possess advanced knowledge of landscape irrigation and lighting installation practices
• Must be punctual, coachable, and be able to follow instructions
• Must be a team player, with a positive attitude, and strong work ethic
• Must have a professional demeanor and appearance at all times
• Must be able to safely and efficiently operate a pickup truck
• Must be able to safely and efficiently tow and maneuver a trailer
• Must be able to safely bend, stoop, kneel, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively
• Show competency using tools and equipment as well as maintenance and repair.
• Show competency completing installation tasks unsupervised
• Proficient in installing and repairing: irrigation and lighting systems
• Able to assign tasks to subordinates, and ensure they are completed as directed
• Show understanding and use of punch list and other administrative documents
• Able to implement company standards for Safety, Organization, and Cleanliness
• Show competency in administrative task such as job sheets, expense reports, spray logs, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times
• Organize and maintain vehicle and trailer inventories
• Safely operate and adequately maintain landscaping equipment and tools
• Provide leadership, active supervision, and guidance to subordinates
• Install irrigation and lighting systems
• Actively supervise the preparation, installation, and shutdown processes
• Complete assigned tasks within the budgeted time frame
• Coordinate daily tasks with the Operation's Manager and Project Manager
• Verify that all trucks and trailers are properly connected and loaded each day
• Ensure all administrative tasks are complete during, and at the end of each day

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
