Job Posting for Supervisor/Crew Leader at PALMETTO INDUSTRIAL SERVICES
JOB SCOPE/PURPOSE:
To ensure quality leadership for job site safety, quality control, and project schedule. Is the liaison on all field and constructability issues.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the successful completion of assigned projects.
- Manage the field and project team successfully and collaboratively.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with clients.
- Manage job site manpower production and performance.
- Use project management and scheduling software effectively.
- Ensure that standards of quality are adhered to by assertively championing a safety culture to project to team and subcontractors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have thorough knowledge of Industrial Cleaning Services.
- Must have excellent communication skills with a strong safety focus.
- Key competencies are leadership, initiative, communication, teamwork, managing for results, coaching, and mentoring.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must be able to pass drug tests (pre-employment, random, and annual).
- A valid driver’s license is required for Company travel along with a good driving record.
- Basic mechanical skills required.
- Supervisory skills are essential.
- Must have telephone access and be available to be reached 24/7.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMAND
- Must be able to read and write.
- Must be able to physically control industrial hydro-blasting and vacuum equipment.
- Must be able to lift and carry (up to 60 pounds) up and down multiple flights of stairs.
- Must be able to enter confined spaces through a manhole.
- Must not be afraid of heights
