Your Job 

  • Ensures life enrichment programs are in compliance with company standards, state, federal, and other regulations and meet Meadowbrook's mission, policies, procedures and standards
  • Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
  • Completes program documentation, as required by company standards or state requirements
  • Collaborates in the education of associates regarding care including how to lead programs on an ongoing basis.
  • Communicates positively with families regarding residents’ personal needs and successes
  • Reports changes in residents’ overall health to nursing staff, including changes in behavior; takes actions to address concerns in a timely manner and collaborates with the team in identifying interventions to address behavioral expressions
  •  Participates, maintains and monitors department quality improvement tools including the budget and supplies as assigned by the Administrator
  • Performs personal care, housekeeping and dietary responsibilities, as needed, to ensure service quality is maintained in accordance with company standards. 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Who You Are

  • Professional with 1 years of direct programming experience with older adults and persons; or equivalent combination of education and experience (Have other qualifying skills? We want to hear from you!)
  • Motivated and organized team-player
  • Valid Illinois CNA license holder  (We will pay for your certification!)
  • Detail oriented, computer literate and have excellent communication skills
