Title: Driver / Certified Nursing Assistant
Job Duties: Driver / Certified Nursing Assistant will serve multiple duties regarding the therapeutic care and transportation needs of the people we serve. The driver provides facility staff with driving services such as persons served to doctors' appointments and recreational activities, running errands, and picking up and transporting admission/ discharge persons served. This position requires the ability and desire to work with a diverse group of individuals in a respectful and professional manner. You will also be responsible for assisting in the provision of the therapeutic milieu by monitoring and communicating with persons served, and assisting in crisis intervention.
Schedule: Monday-Friday: 7am-3:30pm. If no appointments employee will be assigned as CNA in unit.
Qualifications:
- CNA certification
- 18 years of age or older and valid CA license and clean driving record required.
- Preferred one year experience as a driver for a long-term care facility.
About the campus: Crestwood Manor in Fremont is a skilled nursing facility serving individuals from a number of California communities. The facility provides long-term treatment services to people with a primary medical diagnosis and specialized behavioral management needs - for example, Alzheimer's or dementia.
