What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Operator I-IV position at Crestwood Operations, LLC?
SUMMARY |
The Plant Operator will have a full working knowledge of plant equipment operations, and monitoring facilities. Ensures maximum product recovery and maintenance of throughputs within licensing restrictions; initiates changes to work routines where performance can be improved without sacrificing safety or product quality. Ability to understand and comply/hold others accountable to company safety, environmental policies, and procedures. |
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |
· Complete and distribute reports using Microsoft Excel and Word. · Prepare work orders. · Explain and demonstrate how to operate Compressors, Glycol Systems and Amine Systems. · Identify Triggers (cause of shutdowns). · Complete shift report. · Complete operator log sheets and identify items outside acceptable limits. · Explain and demonstrate specific Operating Procedures. · Work weekends, on-call, and holidays as needed. · Create and review written procedures for normal equipment tasks, start-up, shutdown, lockout, etc. · Identify readings that indicate imminent problems if not corrected. · Identify failures that indicate underlying problems and that need root cause failure analysis. · Have working knowledge of PSM, MOC, PHA processes. · Provide format training of operators and other skill groups on proper operation of equipment. · Identify trends that indicate underlying problems that will develop into costly failures over time. · Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis. · Participate in MOC’s.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS |
· Possess high school diploma or equivalent · Current/valid driver’s license. · Must have 4 years of Operating experience.
