Job Description
The Collegiate Hospitality Graphic Designer is the day-to-day creative design partner for the Growth team and the BRC team of talent. As a liaison between the Collegiate Hospitality Growth team and the BRC, this role works with leadership to understand the short- and long-term sales funnel and prioritize project resources, timing, and budget.
The Collegiate Hospitality Graphic Designer provides elevated creative design solutions and works with all aspects of design including production, custom graphics, layout, edits and final delivery. This role leads creative design on all Collegiate Hospitality sales-related projects working closely with the BRC Traffic Manager to plan and resource project support from shared BRC resources including proposal coordinators, project managers, copywriting, proofreading and creative services.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as a collaborative strategic partner to Collegiate Hospitality to develop creative deliverables for client presentations and materials and other B2B marketing materials
- Develop storyboards for presentations and creative pitch ideas
- Evaluate marketplace trends and opportunities to identify emerging tools and technologies to support presentations and other creative needs
- Facilitate effective communication to clarify expectations on a wide range of deliverables
- Produce highly complex sales, operations, and internal support materials: flow-in text, insert pictures, apply style guides, page numbers, formatting, etc. for a variety of needs including presentation storyboarding and development
- Apply expert Adobe Creative Cloud skills to deliver slicks, brochures, communications, event collateral, infographics, and other design-related projects
- Support all steps in the production of sales proposals, RF(x) documents, presentations, client reports, and internal and external support materials for Collegiate Hospitality
- Ensure brand identity compliance, high-quality photographs, and accurate content
- Prioritize and determine resourcing on projects based on skills, abilities, capacity, existing relationships, and project outcomes
- Adhere to proven repeatable project management processes while continually identifying opportunities for improvement in efficiencies, process, and workstream management
Qualifications
- Hold a degree in design, business, communications, or comparable work experience
- Have a minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the Adobe Creative Suite. Premiere/AfterEffects (or similar motion graphic software), and/or web software is a strong plus
- Have experience with project management tools, CRM, and other relevant software
- Champion the processes of existing and future project management solutions and processes
- Accommodate non-traditional work hours in response to business needs, capacity, and deadlines
- Possess a positive, can-do attitude with a deep desire to constantly be looking to improve process, deliverables, and team relationships
- Demonstrate an ability to engage and interact effectively with team members, company leadership at all levels, contractors, and subject matter experts
- Employ exceptional project management skills, with the ability to multi-task while still maintaining quality of work and meet deadlines
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
