Job Description
We're looking for a talented Maintenance Planner & Scheduler to join our team in Mesa, AZ.
The Maintenance Planner & Scheduler will utilize problem solving skills to ensure operational goals and client satisfaction are met. In this role, you will be required to work closely with the customer, engineers, maintenance management, maintenance technicians and various suppliers daily to develop detailed job plans for corrective, project, preventive maintenance activities. You will also partner with operational leaders in developing and implementing strategies for long term projects. You will track this process from start to finish using Maximo and other facilities CMMS programs.
Job Responsibilities
- Create a rolling multi-week maintenance schedule; maintain backlog records by trade, region, and route.
- Maintain future workload forecast based on client input.
- Conduct weekly maintenance/operations scheduling meetings; participate in maintenance/production meetings.
- Manage planned system/facility outages and communicate planned outage/weekly schedules.
- Identify and request parts; manage maintenance/operations documentation; manage quoting activities and update information in the CMMS program and other Management Information Systems.
- Acts as a liaison between employees and any outside vendors needed to resolve specialized problems.
- Ownership of capital planning process.
- Manage the RFP and vendor selection process to ensure efficient sourcing of materials and services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of facilities management operations.
- Strong end-to-end business process, analytical, problem solving and diagnostic skill.
- Experience utilizing complex Excel formulas and functions to build and update reports and Relational Databases (CMMS & Maximo).
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, work in a dynamic fluid environment and effectively cope with change.
- Ability to work on multiple assignments in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining work quality with various locations and team members.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex issues in a concise and logical manner.
