Responsibilities
- Maintain and update product inventory
- Work with Scheduler to compare products ordered against product inventory
- Maintain organization of the Shipping Warehouse. Keep accurate records of all product in inventory and product shipped via scanners and physical inventory
- Supervise Shipping employees, train workers as needed and assign necessary tasks
- Perform all tasks associated with Shipping employees, including the use of tow motor and plastic wrap machine
- Scan all product into location
- Communicate with trucking companies to arrange for shipment to customers
- Work with plant leadership to plan strategy to fill future demand for product
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in a related manufacturing shipping environment, or equivalent education or training
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong planning and analytical skills, detail-oriented
- Ability to work with other company administrative, production and technical personnel at all levels to achieve plant and corporate goals
- Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Frequent walking/standing
- Work is performed in an industrial production setting
