What are the responsibilities and job description for the Criminal Defense Paralegal/ case manager position at Criminal Defense LAW OFFICES?

Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews with clients to gather necessary information for case management
- Transcribe and proofread legal documents and correspondence
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff
- Assist with contract management and document organization
- Conduct research using Westlaw and other legal databases
- Assist with project management tasks related to case files and deadlines
- Collaborate with paralegals and attorneys to ensure efficient case management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of case activities

Experience:
- Previous experience in a legal administrative role or as a paralegal is preferred
- Proficiency in transcribing and proofreading legal documents
- Familiarity with contract management processes
- Strong research skills using Westlaw or similar platforms
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks
