Position Overview:
As an Area Manager, you will be in charge of restaurants day to day operations while assisting the Operations Director in training for new restaurant openings, rollouts, and seasonal menu changes. The Area Manager is a true leader amongst their peers and a committed developer of people. In this role you will be in charge of providing an exceptional guest experience, be a mentor to the Crisp Crew, and manage FOH and BOH operations. This position will continue to grow as our company does and is integral to our continued success.
Area Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a culture in the assigned restaurants where teammates have the opportunity to learn and grow to become future leaders
Recruit, interview, and hire the right talent for Crisp & Green
Quickly improve or remove low performers through coaching and documentation
Motivate, inspire, and challenge their team to consistently achieve and surpass company goals and standards
Control labor costs by reviewing schedules in a timely manner
Control food cost by working with the culinary teams on processes and procedures
Understand how to build on restaurant sales through execution of company marketing tactics and promotional programs
Facilitate training classes and seminars
Enforce training and development of the restaurant teams
Drive the MIT training program and ensures proper execution
Communicate with the Operations Director and General Managers on all operational issues
Provide leadership role for new restaurant openings
Live and represent the Crisp & Green brand day in and out
Other Requirements:
4 years restaurant management required
1-2 years multi-unit experience preferred
Extreme attention to detail
Results driven and self-motivated
Desire to learn and develop internally
Enjoy and thrive working in fast-paced environment
Proven ability to inspire and motivate teams towards a purpose
Successfully communicate to serve as a role model to the Crisp Crew
Strong background in training and development
The ability to work shoulder to shoulder with the restaurant teams
Excellent speaking and presentation skills
Ability to work 50 hours per week, including nights and weekends
Capable of standing for long periods of time and lift and maneuver up to 50lbs
