Dental Assistant Office Manager

As a Office Manager your duties and responsibilities to be successful in the role are:
- Support Operational and Financial oversight for the practice
- Proactive implementation to sustain and improve best practices and processes
- Maintain effective communication and development for the practice staff
- Support a team in mentoring, coaching, and on going development and training
- Drive revenue growth at the practice with ever evolving innovative ideas
- Work hand in hand with patients and the clinicians to facilitate a seamless transition from discussion of treatment to payment plan commitment (financial agreement).
- Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g, OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook).
- Schedule patient exams and treatment.
- Answer phones and address patient questions in a professional manner.
- Attain insurance verification and eligibility for each patient more than 48 hours prior to patient visit.
- Enter insurance benefits for each patient into practice management software, including any special requirements or limitations.
- Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g, OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook).
You will be required to possess the following:
- Proven ability to grow revenue and profit in a dental, healthcare, retail, pharmaceutical or other related industry location (preferred).
- Proven ability is customer service and sales.
- Proven ability to ensure polished, efficient and effective front office systems.
- Ability to work under pressure with a calm composure at viewing situations objectively
- Dentrix, Modento, Google Suite, Dexis software programs you use (preferred).
- 3 years or more years of practical experience (preferred).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth.
- Professional appearance
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
