Overview
The Manager, Supply Planning is responsible for the creation and execution all Global product buying for Hey Dude. This role is intended to manage and lead activity both within lead times as well as at the planning horizon to keep a proactive nature to the buying process. The individual in this role must be highly collaborative given the role serves as a critical information source for multiple cross-functional partners. This Manager leads the efforts of a team of supply planners to execute the buy across the global businesses for all product categories.
What You'll Do
  • Manage the buy process inclusive of gathering requirements, netting data, reviewing against policies, entering purchase orders, and sending buys to factories aligned with the monthly planning calendar.
  • Work closely with the Capacity Planning Manager to understand priorities in the capacity plan and work to balance needs of the brand with needs of the factory base.
  • Responsible for all supply PO maintenance and crafting visibility of future planned receipts to ensure we are constantly planning forward on the buy horizon while maintaining changes / updates to placed supply & receipt flow.
  • Serve as the key information link to cross-functional partners such as Customer Service, Sourcing, Product, Distribution & Logistics, Demand Planning, Sales, and Finance on all supply planning support needs.
  • Actively participate in the S&OP cycle, while playing a key role during the Supply Review step in the cycle.
  • Support any technology related projects to enhance supply and the larger planning process.
What You'll Bring to the Table
  • BS or BA in Supply Chain, Business Management or Finance/Accounting or related field – or equivalent years of relevant and related experience
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive planning experience across supply and/or inventory disciplines. 3 years managing people within a supply chain or finance setting.
  • Intricate knowledge of inventory, supply, service operations; Certification from the Institute of Business Forecasting (IBF) CPF and/or APICS CSCP/CPIM preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge within core systems and Business Intelligence (BI) applications is required; extremely strong excel skills required.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% including International as well as Domestic US travel.

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

This position is eligible to participate in a company incentive program.
