PURPOSE: As a member of the CHS Ministry Team, the Registered Nurse performs a variety of clinical and administrative tasks for the care of CHS patients and serves as clinical supervisor for the medical assistants in their roles.
Minimum Qualifications/Job Requirements:
● Resident or willing to move to north Tulsa.
● Familiarity and appreciation for the vision and mission of CCI and CHS.
● Conscientious of departmental and organizational policies and procedures, and able to embrace and personify the distinctly Christian mission of Crossover Health Services.

● Master of Science in Nursing or a valid Oklahoma Registered Nurse License

Essential Functions and Day-to-day Operations:
1. Oversee vaccine supplies, administration and compliance, including OSSIS management, monthly vaccine reports and refrigerator/freezer temperatures
2. Room patients for their exams in coordination with float MA, and maintain responsibility for the patient care process until the end of each visit.
3. Routinely Conduct Medicare Wellness checks - reviews records, updates charts; facilitate orders, referrals, and follows up with medicare patients
4. Monitor and engage personal task box to ensure that no patients are subjected to unnecessary delays.
5. Monitor A1C’s for FreshRX patients
6. Provide patient education as indicated
7. Properly and efficiently scan documents into patient charts.
8. Provide training and educational sharpening for clinical staff
9. Supervise student-workers during clinical internship/externship
10. Order office/clinical supplies through McKesson in coordination with Office Manager
11. Manage expired samples and supplies
12. Coordinate “sharps container” orders and preparation for pickup
13. Organize samples storage and monitor its usage
14. Setup and maintain call website and scheduling
15. Perform various procedures including: Toe nail care; Ear Washing; Allergy injection; Antibiotic injections; Pain injections
16. Review the following day’s clinic schedule for conflicts/issues and assist to schedule patient appointments as needed.
Registered Nurse Physical Demands:
1. The individual in this position frequently communicates with patients and staff regarding medical treatments or therapies. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
2. Activities require the ability to remain on feet 90% of shift.
3. Good reasoning ability is required to solve a wide range of medical and emergency problems. Able to maintain emotional stability to cope with human suffering, emergencies, and other stresses. Able to understand and utilize medical charts and other documents.
