POSITION DETAILS
The Wood Shop Team Member is responsible for completing all woodworking capabilities in a manner that meets our standards for design, quality, safety, and cleanliness. This full-time position primarily works in Sanding within the Wood Shop Team at our Killbuck campus.

\n- Prepare and stage wood materials
- Understand and operate orbital hand sanders, as well as other Wood Shop machinery as necessary
- Follow all policies and company practices to ensure a safe and quality working environment
- Operate within standard operating procedures and quality control processes
- Complete and process repetitive tasks with efficiency and accuracy
- Assist in other Divisions as needed by the business
- Good communication skills
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery
- Flexible schedule when workload and deadlines need to be met
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
The essential functions of this position frequently require the team member to use hands or fingers to lift, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and to stand, walk, sit and reach with hands and arms. The team member is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and must occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds. This position requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protectors and work boots.
