Job Description:
The Operations Assistant Director will be responsible for the leadership and oversight of product and software license management for the Consulting Business Unit (BU). The Operations Assistant Director will report to the Operations Finance Managing Director, and act as a strategist, consultant, and implementer to ensure product management activities are streamlined, standardized, and implemented to promote achievement of Business Unit objectives.
Responsibilities:
Act as an adviser to the BU leadership team on centralizing and standardizing product lifecycle management
- Ensure that all DUs product management is handled centrally by the Consulting Product Management team.
- Ensure that sales quotations are prepared or reviewed timely and enforce use of CMS standard contract templates and libraries to store agreements.
- Ensure that the data elements of all new product sales, add-ons and renewals are tracked completely in Workday to assure accurate invoicing and revenue recognition.
- Ensure that all new product sales in CRM agree to contracts loaded into Workday.
- Ensure that product orders are placed timely and vendor invoices are paid according to terms.
- Position requires minimal travel
Support the implementation and adoption of Workday as Crowe’s solution for non-service revenue management.
- Perform quality review of data entered in Workday against DU-provided sales information and executed client agreements.
- Validate proposed billing schedules to confirm they map to expected invoicing and revenue recognition requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Professional services experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with finance preferred
- 6 years’ executive level interaction experience
- Impeccable managerial and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior management
- Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments
- Ability to operate at a detailed level while maintaining a big-picture focus
- Organized, versatile, action-oriented with excellent communication skills
