Assistant Office Manager
Crowley Car Company is currently seeking an Assistant Office Manager in the greater San Diego, CA market. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on and interactive management style. The Assistant Office Manager assists with the financial analysis of assigned dealership(s) and ensures proper accounting policies and procedures are followed.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial statement analysis by compiling reports and evaluating financial statements.
- Generates detailed monthly reports.
- Prepares end-of-month packets for ownership.
- Posts statistics for financial statement into computer system monthly.
- Reconciles bank accounts for assigned dealership(s).
- Calculates manager’s payroll.
- Reviews schedules monthly.
- Processes incentive payments.
Qualifications and/or Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting strongly desired and preferred.
- Must have minimally 3 years of experience in all aspects of automotive accounting with demonstrated ability to competently perform and train on the functions of each key area within an automotive business office (DMV, Wholesales, Inventory, Contracts, etc.).
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and automotive accounting software.
- Must be familiar with a variety of accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Skill and ability to apply and perform basic accounting functions and mathematic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rates and percentages.
- Skill and ability to develop and encourage subordinates’ skills and growth.
- Must be able to read, analyze, and understand financial statements, Management Information Systems (MIS) reports, schedules, and journals.
- Must have working knowledge and awareness of all subordinate’s daily duties and responsibilities.
- Excellent oral communication skills in person, and on the phone.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
