SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and facilitation of programs which promote skill and knowledge enhancement (sales enablement and data x) of a diverse employee population throughout the organization.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategically develops effective training programs and materials, making regular modifications to programs where necessary. Ensures consistency in the delivery and application of training standards across the business and oversees the planning, prioritization, and development of new training programs and initiatives. Confirm programs and initiatives are consistent with the business overall strategies, objectives, and needs. Conduct analyses in order to identify and define present and future training needs. Contribute to culture shaping process for the organization. Develop materials and facilitate training sessions to impact learner’s ability to perform in their role. Prepare and administer program budgets and forecasts, as well as developing and communicating program policies and best practices. Partner with talent aquisition, human resources, change management, information technology and other strategic business partners in order to establish/maintain a unified approach to organizational development. Modifies training programs when necessary to adapt to business and work environment changes.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, training/learning, industrial/organizational psychology or a related field; or a combination of post high school education and experience.
EXPERIENCE: 8 years of experience in learning and development including facilitation, instructional design, program implementation, team management, leadership and talent development, succession planning and/or training function management preferably in a large organization; in addition to 5 years management experience.
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint. Proficient with learning/talent management systems and tools.
COMPETENCIES: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to mentor, coach, train and supervise employees. Ability to identify and/or document existing and new processes as well as evaluate their effectiveness, develop improvements and/or recommend changes or alternatives. Ability to strategically plan and serve as a catalyst for organizational change, cultivate a shared vision with others, and motivate others to transfer vision into action. Ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope. Ability to understand and interpret educational needs and develop, deliver, facilitate and train effective instructional solutions. Knowledge of the principles, practices, and standards of human resources, talent management and organizational development. Knowledge of training methodology and the ability to develop and provide technical/operational training to others.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. Extended use of a computer keyboard, viewing of a computer monitor and the ability to sit for long periods of time.
FLSA Status: The position is Non-Exempt. May require the ability to work overtime to meet required deadlines. Must comply with all work rules, including those that pertain to safety and health.
