Sales Representative JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Spend time with customers to determine their needs and discuss vehicle options.
• Maintain a prospect development system; prospects customers using Volkswagen internet leads, the Volkswagen dealer customer database, telephone, visits, referrals, and secondary research.
• Commit to becoming an auto sales expert and gain in-depth knowledge of vehicles and technology.
• Test drive vehicles to demonstrate industry leading features.
• Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Fully explains vehicle performance and new products, features, accessories, etc. and their benefits to prospects; describes all options available for customer purchase.
• Offers test drives to all prospects; makes arrangements for customers to test-drive vehicles.
• Complete quotes and explain financing/leasing options for New and Used vehicles.
• Follow up with prospective customers and return email / voicemail.

Sales Representative JOB REQUIREMENTS

• The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to succeed.
• Prior experience working with customers and providing an exceptional experience. Automotive experience not necessary - we will train the right individual.
• Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a “people person").
• Basic computer, email, and internet proficiency.
• Must be comfortable talking on the phone.
• Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Valid U.S. Driver's license.
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check, DMV screen, and drug screen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
