We are currently seeking applications for the position of Billing Analyst. This position will be based in New Brunswick, NJ and may be hybrid in-office and work from home.

Position Statement

The Billing Analyst supports the essential function of timely billing of external and internal parties and ensuring accurate payment of Service Partner/Supplier invoices by partnering with internal stakeholders to collect data, match services received to invoices, approve and schedule invoices for payment. This position provides support and assistance for Billing, Pricing, and Service Partner invoice activities in North America.

Administration

  • Collects, enters and audits data from internal stakeholders related to services provided to Crown by Service Partners/Suppliers.
  • Assist with verification of job cost information based upon service quotes, services provided and received and invoiced items.
  • Works closely with pricing team to ensure job costs for each service file is accurately recorded in tracking systems.
  • Follow-up with Mobility Advisors for missing information to ensure accurate and timely payment of Service Partner invoices.
  • Review customer file for accurate job cost information in preparation of invoices
  • Analyze and resolved issues to ensure supplier is set-up and record is ready to receive invoice payments.
  • Routine and frequent review of outstanding invoices requiring follow-up or resolution of issues.
  • Verifies Service Partner is registered and properly approved in the service partner database.
  • Assist Administrative Manager with internal and external customer billing as required
  • Assist Administrative Manager with internal billing approvals
  • Ensures timely and accurate creation of billing (Either CB or ICB) for every Moving Service that Crown provides as per the agreed tariff signed.
  • Ensure that none of the Crown provided services remain unbilled.
  • Ensure tasks are completed within timelines to a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.

Client Services

  • Correspond with internal and external customer’s inquiries in timely and efficient manner to answer questions, resolve discrepancies and facilitate payments.
  • Correspond with US staff and vendors on a timely basis on issues relating to vendor invoices and job costs.

Professional Knowledge and Skills

  • Analytical and detail oriented. Must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in data entry.
  • Highly developed organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Knowledge of general accounts payable practices and principles.
  • Proficient computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Accounting & Reporting software.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years or above experience in a billing or accounting area.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting is preferred.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis of billing and recovery efforts.
  • Perform ongoing analysis to identify problems, as well as opportunities for improvement.
  • Respond to customer issues and questions.
  • Liaise with other departments and third-party vendors to resolve problems.
  • Communicate adjustments and issues with accounts to customers in a timely manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year

Schedule:
