LOGO Grinder Job Description:
Responsible for grinding, sanding, and polishing objects made of metal, plastic, and glass. Uses cloth, hand tools, and power tools to ensure a smooth surface. Inspects for flaws or cracks.
LOGO Grinder Job Responsibilities:
Grind, sand, and polish objects
Correct defects
Prepare surface for further finishing
Mark cracks and splits for repair
Position grinding equipment over surface
Adjust output of power
Polish and grind materials according to specifications
Measure equipment
Interpret blueprints and instructions
Trim and scrape objects
Use scrapers to smooth product
Clean equipment and work tables
Load or remove workpieces from work tables
Record product data
Maintain or repair equipment
Sharpen abrasive grinding tools
Grind automotive parts
Follow guidelines and templates
Record processing data
Other duties as assigned
LOGO Grinder Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to read, communicate, and understand English
Ability to understand and follow all safety procedures and protocols
Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations
