Job Overview:
We are seeking a Tank Entry Supervisor who manages and supervises tank cleaning project and shifts, supervising all team members and working closely with the Project Manager. Additionally, the Tank Cleaning Supervisor works with vacuum truck drivers and operates and maintains dewatering, and related equipment, including, but not limited to, air compressor, forklift, excavation, pumping and conveyor.
Qualifications:
- Current TWIC card
- 5 years related experience and/or training.
- Valid Driver’s License
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clean driving record
- Willingness and flexibility to work on diverse project tasks on different job sites
- Excellent work ethic, communication skills and team-player attitude
- Strong attention to detail, with proven ability to follow specific instructions
- Tank Entry Supervisor certification
Responsibilities:
-Manage and supervise tank cleaning projects and shifts
- Operate and maintain variety of work dewatering and related equipment, including forklift, filter press, and groundwater treatment and/or soil vapor extraction equipment
-Communicates regularly with team members, vacuum truck drivers and the Project Manager
Skills:
- Work on various job sites as assigned, working effectively both in a team environment
- Responsible for client satisfaction
- Minimize equipment down-time; eliminate spills
- Keep sites neat, clean and free of debris
- Operate, and train others in the use of, vacuum trucks, various pumps, pressure washers, mechanical ventilation and degassing, atmospheric testing meters, grounding and bonding, proper PPE selection, including respiratory protection, forklifts, and excavation equipment.
- Assist sales team in generating new business; communicate with clients to generate upselling opportunities.
- Assist the billing team to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
- Responsible for the completion of daily paperwork.
- Identify problems on work site and take steps to resolve them directly if applicable.
- Adhere to and promote all health and safety policies, including all safety protocols.
- Follow all Company Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform minor machine repair and set ups
- Other duties as assigned
Authority & Obligation:
-Maintain a professional appearance by wearing Company supplied uniforms and ID badges (TWIC & HASC), which are requirements per Company Policy, and courteous demeanor with internal and external customers.
-Has the authority to stop production at any time that is deemed necessary for reasons of safety, quality, or priority.
