What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Fabric Cutter position at CRUISERS YACHTS?
Cruiser Yachts/Marine Max is the country's foremost manufacturer of premier fiberglass yachts. At the heart of Cruisers Yachts you'll find heart. With our continued growth, we are looking to add motivated and hardworking CNC Fabric Cutter to our growing team!
This is a 1st Shift position, Monday - Thursday, 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
What a CNC Fabric Cutter will do:
- Operate machines to cut single and multiple layers of fabric into parts
- Apply patterns, mark and cut various shapes using straight knife or round knife
- Organize and prioritize cutting according to needs of the production team
- Inspect products to ensure that the quality standards and specifications are met.
- Adjust cutting techniques to types of fabrics
- Place patterns on top of layers of fabric and cut fabric following patterns, using electric or manual knives, cutters, or computer numerically controlled cutting devices.
- Program electronic equipment.
What you need to have
- Previous cutting experience required
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Effective organizational, stress and time management skills
- Results and deadline-oriented, ability to prioritize and multitask
- Thrives in a changing and dynamic environment
