Crumbl Grovetown is looking for an experienced Shift leader to join our team. Shift Leaders are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the shift, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing a team of employees. The responsibilities of this position include training and supervising employees, monitoring inventory levels, handling customer complaints, and collaborating with other shift leaders and management to achieve company goals. A shift leader is also responsible for overseeing front-of-house and back-of-house shifts, as well as working with managers and providing assistance to all departments. The position requires excellent communication skills, an attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems.
Responsibilities:
- Operates as "Manager on Duty" during scheduled shifts
- Resolve conflict or complaints from customers and employees
- Report any issues that arise during the shift to management
- Manage dough production plans and baking schedules
- Oversee store requirements of opening and closing registers, account for the daily intake, and preparing cash deposits
- Lead shifts of 3-10 team members at a time and be able to open and/or close the store as needed
- Supervise employees, assign duties, and delegate tasks based on scheduled employees
- Ensures employees are following Standard Operating Procedures, following company policies, and safety standards
- Mentor and train team members and new staff
- Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, fulfill orders, and create excellent baked goods
Minimum Requirements:
- High school or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- 1 year of previous leadership experience in restaurant/food industry is required
- Basic phone applications and math skills
- Ability to keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office products (word and excel), email, and google calendar/drive
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to stand for entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs
