Company Summary:
Crystal Springs is a non-profit organization that provides educational, therapeutic and residential services to children and adults living with both physical and intellectual disabilities. We support children and adults with developmental disabilities in a loving, nurturing environment that promotes health, safety, dignity, respect and choice. POSITION SUMMARY:
Do you really want to make a difference in the lives of the students on your caseload? Do you wish you had a smaller caseload and a more flexible schedule, and paid time off? Do you thrive in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative team? If so, this position is for you! We are currently seeking a creative and energetic SLP to join our rehabilitation department. In this part-time position you will be asked to work 28 hours per week, over the course of 4 or 5 days. Your caseload will consist of 12 to 15 students with severe to profound disabilities, so expertise in the areas of AAC, dysphagia, and hearing impairment will be beneficial. If you have interest in these areas but no experience, that’s OK! Our team currently consists of 2 speech-language pathologists and 2 speech-language pathology assistants, and we will collaborate to make your transition to Crystal Springs a smooth one. While our preference is for a therapist with 2 years of experience, we are able to provide the supervision needed for a clinical fellowship.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree, MA licensure to practice as an SLP (or eligibility upon completion of CF), ASHA Certification of Clinical Competency
