Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various areas of law and a strong commitment to providing exceptional legal services. Preferred experience in Oil, gas, or banking. Pay is 60,000 a year plus bonuses.
Duties:
- Research and analyze legal issues
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies
- Draft legal documents, such as contracts, pleadings, and appeals
- Provide legal advice to clients
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Stay current on legal developments and changes in the law
Skills:
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in various areas of law including Estate Planning, Workers Compensation Law, Personal Injury Law, and Legal Administrative tasks
- Knowledge of Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw research platforms
- Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with Tribal Law Regulations
- Experience working in a law office
