JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Project Specialist position provides administrative support to Project Managers to assist our clients with their projects, including but not limited to rollouts, buildouts, and refreshes. This position supports with proposal creation, reporting, scope development, job follow-ups, and updates. The Project Specialist coordinates the due diligence process with local municipalities, labor forces, material orders, and deliveries as well as assist with the qualifying and vetting of sub-contractor proposals.
Essential Functions

- Support Project Managers from an administrative perspective by aiding with the planning and development of projects within the budget set forth by the client.
- Scope Development with the assistance of Project Managers.
- Responsible for the coordination of material orders and deliveries.
- Coordination of labor forces and skilled trades.
- Perform independent and team support development of special projects of complex scope.
- Assist with job follow-up and provide updates to Project Managers and V.P. of Business Development.
- Generate proposals with the assistance of Project Managers.
- Qualify & vet sub-contractor proposals with the assistance of Project Managers.
- Innovative and analytical approaches to resolve issues related to project management.
- Perform Site Assessments and walk-throughs.
- Responsibly for due diligence with local municipalities and expeditors.

Work Environment
This job operates on-site/location of construction projects 100%. As a Site Supervisor, the employee is expected to convey an approachable professional appearance and demeanor positively representing CS Hudson. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and wi-fi. For duties not performed in the office, you are provided with all the equipment necessary to complete your job out-of-office.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, type, walk and travel.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday from 9:00A to 5:00P. Evening and weekend work are required as job duties and projects demand.
Travel
You are required to travel to on-site locations of construction projects as such travel is a necessity to perform your duties.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications/Responsibilities
Computer proficiency is required as various computer platforms, programs, and applications are necessary to perform essential job duties, including but not limited to those listed. Training will be provided but previous knowledge and experience are recommended.
1. Office365, Microsoft, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc.
2. Work order management systems and Telecommunications hardware/software
3. Ability to work independently within a team environment
