Construction Office Manager
Are you an experienced construction administrator with a keen eye for details? We, at CSI Electrical and Mechanical, are looking for someone to help us manage our busy construction office and oversee contract administration, cash management, bookkeeping, scheduling and filing
Our ideal candidate has over 2 years of construction administration support experience and a firm grasp of construction industry best practices. If you have good communication skills and a track record of optimizing processes, please apply.
***Working Hours: Monday-Friday (9am-5pm EST) JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer payroll, cash management, and billing tasks - prepare invoices, change orders, purchase orders, work orders, subcontracts, and punch lists,
- Maintain accurate work logs of construction activities, job information sheets, and project team rosters
- Enforce quality control process measures that ensure compliance with contracts, building, and code regulations
- Assemble the closeout package including maintenance agreements, equipment information, warranties, and contractor contact information
- Communicate with the field team and help them with necessary requirements.
- Effective internal coordination and management
- Occasional site visits and supervision
QUALIFICATIONS
- Efficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and project or construction management software
- Superb organization and communication skills, time management, and attention to detail are desired
- Key bookkeeping, accounting, and math skills are preferred
- At least one year of experience in construction services, construction administrative support, contract administration, or construction project management is needed
- Understanding of the construction industry and processes are beneficial- including codes, AIA documentation, and safety regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
