A qualified Warehouse Team Member candidate is someone passionate keeping things organized for efficiency and effectiveness. We are looking for someone to not only to keep products moving from vendor delivery to store shelves, but also assist customers with loading our products into their vehicles with a readiness to help, with a smile, the foundation of our Legendary Customer Service.
Additionally, a qualified driver would have experience driving a 22-26’ box truck, have a clean driving record, have the ability to lift 50lbs repetitively and to navigate maps/GPS and would be expected to load the truck with daily deliveries, drive safely to the customer's delivery address and unload the truck at the customer’s residence.
Bring your knowledge of space management for efficient warehouse operations! Our Warehouse Team Members organize product placement in the warehouse and yard to keep product flowing to the showroom for efficient store operations. They will manage product inventories and help with store and yard cleanliness to create an attractive customer shopping environment.
Job Duties include: Unloading vendor trucks in a safe and efficient manner, receiving and checking-in products in an organized process to manage inventory and minimize potential shrink issues, organizing the store’s warehouse and storage yard with products for efficiency and safe access and stocking shelves and floor displays. Be a certified forklift operator (if over 18), certified at filling propane tanks (if over 18), helping customers with delivery carts, and loading products into their vehicles, assembling products (grills, etc.) and product displays, and maintaining the warehouse and grounds to enhance the shopping experience for our wonderfully loyal customers. Drivers would have experience driving a 22-26’ box truck, have a clean driving record, have the ability to lift 50lbs repetitively and to navigate maps/GPS and would be expected to load the truck with daily deliveries, drive safely to the customer's delivery address and unload the truck at the customer’s residence.
From time to time, Warehouse Team Members may be asked to assist customers to gather the necessary products for customer projects, delivering Legendary Service and saving customers from making multiple trips to the store to complete their projects. In addition, Warehouse Team Members may be expected to load customer vehicles with plants, fertilizer, soils, pet food and other products.
Requirements: You must have a positive attitude, a high level of enthusiasm and personal energy, possess great interpersonal and communication skills which make you a great team player, customer-friendly, working well in a team environment with a diverse staff, and be hard-working. You must be able to work outside in all weather conditions and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
