Position Summary:
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for addressing Human Resources concerns within their respective branch{es}. This individual will be focused on the human capital element of the business and mitigation of risk to the branch. The Human Resources Manager will also be responsible for the support, coaching and development of their management teams and support the operational efficiency of their branches.
This role is critical in changing the HR mindset from a reactive, employee relations only role to a positive, pro-active, collaborative, solution-based team that is an integral part of the business. The goal is to make the branch management teams better leaders, create better environments and ensure CTDI as an employer of choice.
Responsibilities:
- Member of branch leadership responsible for supporting and addressing site business initiatives, issues & challenges in their respective capacity
- Manage site HR Generalist{s} & HR Coordinator{s} tasked with supporting the daily HR operations of the branch - understand backgrounds/ strengths/developmental areas and address as needed
- Address employee relations issues as necessary – i.e. attendance, performance management, conduct, etc.. - ensuring documentation is consistent, thorough and accurate
- Be first point of contact for employee human resources concerns & questions and provide guidance - i.e. payroll questions, health plan options during open enrollment, vacation policy, etc..
- Partner with Workforce Operations Recruitment Team and Branch Ambassador to ensure a smooth new employee experience
- Partner with branch leadership in the evaluation and selection of all manager and supervisor hires and promotions
- Contributes in manager & supervisor talent assessment & development initiatives
- Compile People Metrics within the branch such as turnover/issues/safety, etc. and work with Regional General Manager to develop solutions
- Recommend branch training needs such as leadership, safety, employee relations, sexual harassment, etc. to regional General Manager
- Working with the regional General Manager for Human Resources, implement new policies, procedures & protocols into the organization
- Address sensitive topics & carry out investigations
Salary Range: $85,000-90,000

Required Education:
- BA/BS in HR or related experience
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in Human Resources
- Familiarity with different HR areas of specialization {i.e. Total Rewards, Talent Management, etc.}
- At least 3 years dealing with employee relations matters including complex & sensitive investigations
- 1-3 years previous management experience preferred
- Previous experience in high volume manufacturing or warehousing organizations would be helpful
- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws
- Previous training experience preferred - ability to create content & deliver
- Ability to assess talent and create & execute development plans
- Strong computer proficiency, especially Excel & Power Point and preferably UltiPro & Kronos
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- The ability to lead through influencing
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to employees at all levels within the organization
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement
- Ability to travel locally and occasionally overnight
