Overview
Serve as Systems Instructor and technical subject matter expert for CACI|SystemWare’s portfolio of products, supporting its customers in the U.S. Government, commercial and international markets. The systems instructor will teach students in the application of CACI|SystemWare’s products to support the planning and execution of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM), Technical Counterintelligence (TCI). Instruction is conducted at CACI|SystemWare’s training facility in Columbia, MD, virtually, and via mobile training team (MTT). Applies a variety of learning strategies and models for students. Assists with all aspects of the training, education and program responsibilities to include metrics, resourcing, strategy, administrative and policy review. Assists in developing policies and performance metrics for curriculum effectiveness, CACI|SystemWare training performance, and instructor professional development. Develops and executes feedback mechanisms to solicit and analyze course feedback. Maintains liaison with customer bases to keep abreast of TSCM and TCI policy, doctrine, and TTP developments and trends.
Although primarily focused on the technical security field, the systems instructor must be able to provide basic operational instruction to any customer base.
Individuals best suited for the instructor role are highly energetic and passionate about designing, developing, and delivering new training programs and initiatives for the business. The instructor conducts new requirement analysis through engagement with clients, client account managers and business leadership to identify gaps and provide effective solutions for curriculum-based classes and inform product solutions. U.S. Citizenship required.
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, schedule, and be the Systems Instructor for CACI|SystemWare clients, partners, and employees in the use of all products in the CACI|SystemWare portfolio.
Support Primary Instructor in developing course materials including product integrated basic system operations materials, basic intermediate, and advanced classroom instruction involving presentations, examinations, and practical exercises.
Ensure training environment supports student needs and is conducive to learning
Develop and maintain professional relationship with CACI|SystemWare clients and partners; leverage these relationships to identify and respond to participants’ challenges and issues, including refine course curriculum to address identified needs.
Identify, document, and report product improvements, new requirements, and opportunities that arise from training interactions.
Evaluate effectiveness of training programs and learning outcomes
Actively refine and create new courses and curriculum based on emerging technologies or TTPs
Provide relevant and timely scenarios, vignettes, and use cases that reflect current military operations regarding the Technical Surveillance Countermeasures and Technical Counterintelligence market segments.
Continually strive to improve their own technical and presentation skills
Contribute to continuous curriculum improvement initiatives for courses under scope of influence
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Support client account managers with customer support and product demonstrations as needed
- Provide exercise support or on-site training events at the customer’s request.
- Conduct online webinars, familiarization events, and remote training, and adapt in-person instruction to meet virtual needs.
- Be able to travel to customer locations for extended periods of time to provide training, exercise support, field evaluations, and other non-traditional training environments globally.
- Be responsible for the tracking, status, basic upkeep and control of CACI|SystemWare assets, equipment, and accessories used for training, demonstrations, and exercise support.
- Maintain technical proficiency in all products in the CACI|SystemWare portfolio as well as related hardware and software products
- Maintain competence configuring all products in the CACI|SystemWare portfolio in line with course curriculum and standards
- Other related and relevant duties as defined by supervisor
Qualifications
- Complete knowledge of company products, systems, applications and current operating systems and a keen understanding of how they are employed 5-8 years related experience, with at least three years demonstrating an understanding of hardware and software for related systems and/or applications.
- Individual experience should be directly related to Technical Surveillance Countermeasures, and/or signals analysis.
- Experience teaching technical material in a classroom, in a field environment, as well as conference or remote web settings.
- Self-confident and able to engage and manage an effective learning environment situations or information easily and quickly with limited direction or training.
- Highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking
- Manage time effectively and work efficiently, both with and without direct supervision
- Speak or write with ease, clarity, and impact, using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audience
- Demonstrated ability to develop and use engaging, informative and compelling presentation methodologies
- Sharp, fast learner with a technology curiosity and aptitude
- Demonstrates a lively and genuine interest in educating others; regularly approaches teaching with energy and enthusiasm
- Excellent analytical and troubling shooting skills
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to maintain a professional demeanor regardless of the situation or environment
- Directly inform new product development or product improvements through customer engagements and feedback
- Domestic and overseas travel required
