Your role and your team:
You will be part of a team that ensures the service for the production facilities as well as maintenance activities for tools, machines and facilities. We are looking for an ambitious, reliable, and experienced Facility and Maintenance Engineer, who will be responsible for securing infrastructure readiness for existing and future production facilities.
Your Day to Day:
- Plan and implement infrastructure projects – e.g. for electric systems, HVAC, fire protection systems.
- Ensure seamless integration of specialized equipment into building systems for optimal functionality.
- Perform and coordinate trouble shooting, maintenance and repair activities for test and production facilities.
- Contract and manage facility service companies
- Lead the integration of a maintenance framework, PPM schedule (TPM) and related processes for the production facility / equipment.
- Maintain the spare part and equipment storage including regular inventory checks
- Supervise and coordinate external companies such as suppliers or contractors and facility services.
- Identify facility related issues and perform root cause analysis
- Drive and support improvement projects together with various stakeholder to prevent incidents
Your Profile:
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in a Facilities Engineering role or similar (apprenticeship will be credited)
- Strong knowledge of building systems such as electric systems, HVAC, air supply or fire protection
- Capability to evaluate technical work
- Understanding of safety regulations, codes, and standards applicable to building systems.
- Certified electrician and electrical work experience is an asset
- Ability to perform tasks accurately according to internal processes, safety and security regulations.
- English minimum B2, German minimum B1
- Hands-on attitude
- Motivated, proactive, autonomous and structured
- Completed technical apprenticeship, Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent qualification
