What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable position at Culligan Ultrapure?
Company Profile:
Culligan Ultrapure is a Culligan Water franchise that started in 1962 and has 21 locations spread across Minnesota, Indiana, Arizona, Missouri, and Texas. The company services residential, commercial, and industrial customers with water purification and softening systems.
Position Description:
The position can either be full-time or part-time and is part of the accounting team at the corporate office in Owatonna, MN. This position enters all PO’s into the ERP system and reviews and pays all vendor invoices.
Duties include:
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Process credit card statements and receipts / process transactions to GL.
- Post and code expense purchase orders to GL codes.
- Manage open purchase orders. Work with locations to ensure vendor payments in timely manner.
- Maintain inventory items and ensuring correct pricing.
- Assist with month end closing

Qualifications include:
- Associate Degree in Accounting or similar field preferred, and / or 1-3 years of experience in accounting payable role.
- Knowledge of accounting practices and ERP systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
