BIM Manager / Revit Modeler - BIM project, Revit, Dynamo Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager / Revit Modeler to join our structural engineering firm in Chico, CA. We are a creative, team-oriented firm that values work-life balance. Our company specializes in cast-in-place & precast concrete structures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experienced Revit user.
• Dynamo experience preferred.
• Proficient in all software platforms related to BIM/Revit applications including, but not limited to, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Navisworks.
• 5 - 10 years of experience as BIM Manager with strong evidence of implementing training programs.
• Knowledge of general drafting practices and procedures.
• Experience with structural drafting of concrete, steel, wood and masonry.
• Able to read and understand architectural drawings.
• Able to generate complete drawings from marked prints, engineer notes, and written/verbal instructions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong work ethic, team player, and attention to detail.
• Revit Professional Certification is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attend BIM project kick-off meetings and client meetings for major projects.
• Develop detailed design drawings using Revit.
• Edit, create, and maintain BIM content including Standards, Revit Templates, Families, Detail Components and Detail Library.
• Augment office BIM documentation procedures.
• Create and maintain Dynamo workflows.
• Research and development of new technologies, workflows, utilities, and applications.
• Maintain BIM tutorials and serve as an office resource on all BIM related topics.
• Coordinate with internal engineers, drafters, and consultants’ project managers, project architects and BIM managers.
• Coordinate and consult with other team members to design, layout, or detail components and structural systems.
• Incorporate changes/redlines and alterations as directed.
• Ensure project meets required specifications and timeline.
• Work with firmwide leadership and operations to ensure BIM concepts, proposals, contractual agreements, and obligations are understood and viable with current technology and internal skillset.
• Assist with the strategic recruitment of staff with market specific experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
