Are you a detail-oriented, organized, and people-focused individual? Culver’s of Onalaska is looking for a part-time Human Resource Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will support our hiring and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for new team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Phone Interviews:

  • Screen potential candidates through initial phone interviews to assess suitability.
  • Maintain detailed records of candidate interactions.

Coordinate Sit-down Interviews:

  • Coordinate and schedule sit-down interviews between candidates and the general manager.
  • Ensure timely communication and follow-up with candidates.

Prepare for Onboarding:

  • Request and review background checks for potential hires.
  • Ensure all background checks are completed accurately and promptly.
  • Coordinate hiring communication and documentation.
  • Manage the ordering process for uniforms for new team members.
  • Ensure timely delivery and proper fitting of uniforms.

Conduct New Hire Orientations:

  • Execute comprehensive orientation programs for new team members.
  • Ensure new team members understand company policies and procedures.

Maintain Team Member Paperwork:

  • Verify all necessary paperwork for new hires, including contracts and tax forms is complete on time.
  • For all existing team members, maintain accurate and up-to-date team member records.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and passion for accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently to meet expectations.
  • Personable demeanor and able to build connections with others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills using multiple means of communication.
  • Proficient using a computer. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and Google Applications such as Gmail and Google Drive.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
