TITLE Data and Accountability Data Clerk (Clerk IV)
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma supplemented with college level courses in Business, Office Administration or related area. Must have at least three years of extensive experience in an office environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft PC applications (word processing, spreadsheet, and database) and Google applications. Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills required. Minimum typing skill of 45 wpm. Familiarity with the NC Testing Program and Accountability Procedures preferred. Working knowledge of SQL preferred.

REPORTS TO:
Associate Superintendent of Data and Accountability
JOB GOAL:
To analyze and prepare data for distribution, comparison, and research and to strengthen the assessment program used by the students of Cumberland County.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works closely with the CCS Technology Department to develop a means of collecting data from various sources that can be shared with CCS departments for presentations, research, grants, etc.
Works as a liaison with the Data and Accountability Department and the English as a Second Language Department to evaluate the entire ACCESS for ELL’s Assessment processes.
Download, disaggregate, and share reported discipline data for presentations.
Consults with school level test coordinators and other appropriate colleagues in data analysis including understanding and application of all appropriate assessments.
Consults with Data and Accountability, ESL, EC, Federal Programs, and any other departments to gain an understanding of the purpose of programs and the data monitoring piece to be used for each program.
Creates databases and utilizes data to prepare reports for distribution to stakeholders.
Maintains the online NC ED directory for all teachers involved with any online testing
Serves as the recording Secretary for the CCS Research Department
Conducts routine scanner maintenance
Assists with the check-in, scanning, and reporting process involved with testing throughout the year.

Performs other duties and accepts responsibilities as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have finger dexterity and be able to perform the basic life operational functions of sitting, light lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Background check with local and state law enforcement agencies required.
Must possess a valid North Carolina driver’s license.
