Responsibilities

Cumberland Hall Hospital is a bed, licensed, acute psychiatric hospital located in beautiful Hopkinsville, KY. Cumberland Hall features individual units for youth, adults and active duty military, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs.

On average over 0 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Cumberland Hall Hospital. Job Duties to include :

• Ensures the completion of the Competency Checklist as assigned.
• Filing progress notes, retrieving patient charts, and brings patients to the Medical Staff team member.
• Attends treatment team, takes notes on each patient and relays messages from the doctor to other members of the treatment team.
• Organizes workload to provide coverage. Identifies and manages multiple priorities. Utilizes initiative to anticipate workload.
• Sits in with the Providers during Telehealth sessions.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Scan paper documents to the appropriate members of the medical team.

Qualifications

Education : High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience : A minimum of six (6) months direct clinical experience in a health care environment. Hospital or behavioral health setting preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
