Communications Specialist – Seniors #IN1037
Description
Build, contribute, lead, and execute strategic communications planning, including marketing promotional plans and communications plans. Lead and maintain project, account, and vendor management. Solve non-routine cross-functional problems and contribute to strategy and planning. Maintain and develop meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, leaders, and vendors. Lead tactical execution of communications plans and identify and contribute to process improvement and functional excellence. Write, edit, and create content and strategic messaging and adhere to relevant style guides. Maintain and support budgets/financials, and provide guidance regarding event preparation and execution. Lead functional training, and create and deliver presentations. Compile, analyze, and utilize metrics, data, and analytics. Utilize understanding of digital tools, trends, and channels to create effective, high-quality visual and experiential promotional media. Create competitive advantage through brand recognition, position the brand to meet or exceed stakeholder expectations, and apply brand standards to create a consistent perception and defend the company reputation. Discover, interpret and communicate qualitative and quantitative data and determine conclusions relying on knowledge of business and functional frameworks. Apply statistics, data validity, data visualization, and problem-solving approaches to effectively extract meaningful patterns and business insights. Leverage current and emerging digital media strategies to influence buyer behavior or target audiences to a desired action. Write promotional business messages using style guidelines for the target audience, and simplify complex information into messages relevant to target audience.
Qualifications
Experience and Education:
Positions require a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field and 3 years of experience as a Communications, Strategy, or Account Analyst, or related position. Experience to include: Strategic communications planning; Account and vendor management; Process improvement and functional excellence; Event preparation and execution; Create effective promotional media; Brand recognition; Business and functional frameworks; Current and emerging digital media strategies.
