Job Title: Greenhouse Technician
Average Weekly Hours : Full-Time, 40hrs /week
Purpose
As a Greenhouse Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in maintaining the daily functions of the CRG Grow Greenhouse and off-site gardens, including preparing grow areas, seeding, transplanting, watering, harvesting, packaging and cleaning. Through your contribution to the CRG Grow team, you will be helping to provide CRG guests with produce of exceptional quality, and ensuring seamless interoperability with CRG restaurants. CRG Grow aims to be the premier example of the local grown, farm to fork experience.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
Years of experience: 3 seasons of farming/commercial growing experience preferred.
Technical skills: Experience operating water pumps, pressure washers, and harvesting fresh produce. Working comprehension of - or willingness to learn - the metric measuring system.
Soft skills: Ability to work in warm to hot environmental conditions, willingness to take ownership of assigned roles, able to stand for 4-5 hours, iniave, self-motivated, aenon to detail, highly organized, professionalism, team player, adaptable, ability to create and nurture positive working relationships, good written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work independently and maintain discipline is absolutely essential.
Salary Information
This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position. The hours will be 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. Lunch is provided for all shifts.

- Watering various growing systems, both hydroponic and traditional cultivation (10%)
- Cleaning hydroponic growing materials, including ZipGrow towers, trays and grow areas (40%)
- Preparing Soil Mixtures and Inputs for Greenhouse Production (30%)
- Harvesting produce, including microgreens, basil and mixed lettuce (10%)
- Miscellaneous greenhouse duties, such as opening and closing duties, minor maintenance (10%)
