Current Home, a Southern California-based solar energy company, is top-ranked by its employees and by its customers in reviews at Yelp, Google, and BBB. This year Current Home is expanding into the Florida and Texas markets! In doing so we are currently hoping to add to our existing, outstanding team, by actively hiring dedicated Outside Sales Consultants in the greater Orlando FL area.
Our ideal candidate will be motivated, willing to learn, no matter their experience level in solar sales, or someone who is ready for an exciting career in a sector that is new for them. Experience with in-home sales consultations focused on solar energy options in Florida is a plus. However, we do offer hands-on sales processes and Florida-specific solar industry training.
As a part of the Current Home team, you will not only become part of our tight-knit organization of industry professionals, many of whom have been working together for 5 years, you will be encouraged to collaborate with the sales managers, marketing teams and operations and high-level executive members, in order to achieve not only company goals, but your personal career goals.
Responsibilities of Sales Consultant
- Conduct in-home consultations and present custom-designed energy solutions for homeowners in the Orlando area.
- Learn the products that Current Home offers its customers.
- Stay up to date on industry trends.
- Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the sales process, installation, and beyond.
- Generate referral business.
- Have a good time!
Qualifications
- Renewable Energy / Solar Sales and/or Direct Sales experience preferred but not required to join the team
- Open-minded and ready to learn.
- Self-motivated.
- Able to work nights and weekends if needed.
- Bilingual is a bonus but is not required.
Outstanding Training and Compensation
- We deliver a full sales and marketing training to our team that is the best in the industry. Our training doesn’t stop in the classroom, we provide additional resources such as field ride-alongs, full access to contact management, continued training modules, and more.
- There is a high-paying commission-based compensation plan with no earning cap. Typical earnings are 75-150K, with 75-100K being realistic first-year earnings, and experienced Reps making 150-200K.
