Primary office locations are Cleveland, OH and Greenville, SC, with centers of expertise locations in Austin, TX, Rolling Meadows, IL and Quebec, Canada. Manufacturing operations reside in Hendersonville, NC, Pittsburgh, PA, Plympton, MA, Christiansburg, VA, Acuna, MX and Tijuana, MX.

The Customer Data Specialist will be responsible for maintaining our customer partner records and the necessary transaction means to intake orders and delivery invoices. The role will facilitate customer master and condition table setup, build audit mechanisms, and resolve trading partner issues with urgency, efficiency, and compassion. The specialist will primarily work in SAP and build strong cross functional work groups with the IT EDI support team and the Finance Risk & Accounts Receivable team members. They require strong professional demeanor and great initiative as they must deliver exceptional customer service and decision-making leadership to keep trading partners accurate and stable. The Customer Data Specialist will report to the Director of Sales Reporting and Analytics. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create & maintain customer records in SAP for our sold-to, bill-to and payer account groups.
  • Perform necessary ERP queries and winshuttle scripts for analysis and mass maintenance.
  • Collaborate with ERP and B2B teams to setup and maintain automation of trading partner data.
  • Key point of contact between trading partner EDI teams and internal EDI technical teams, providing EDI setup requirements to technical teams, both internal and external
  • Project manage and oversee testing with any new trading partners to confirm EDI setup and messaged sent/receipt between trading partner and internal EDI technical teams
  • Monitor and facilitate resolution on EDI order entry errors and all Billing Deliveries for EDI & Email methods.
  • Support accurate maintenance of all customer record fields dependent in sales reports and business operations such as but not limited to Sales and Distribution channels, Partner Functions, Payment Terms, Price Procedure, Customer Group attributes, and Delivery Plant.
  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with customers/consultants/ business partners at all levels of management to identify and investigate complex problems that cannot be resolved at the initial point of contact and require a customized response for issue resolution. 
  • Lead standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation and customer requirement profiles for reliable business reviews.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience and education.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Collects and researches data.
  • Processes data accurately.
  • Maintains a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers.
  • Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft products and order processing systems.
  • EDI experience required, with knowledge of key file types including 856, 810, 850, 855, 820, 940.
  • SAP SD Experience preferred.

Compensation

The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more.  This salary range is $60,000-80,000.
