Sales Associate - Meditation Studio

Current Meditation is a brand new concept that specializes in providing meditation for the modern world. We're taking the intimidation factor and mystery out of meditation to bring the practice mainstream. If you like the idea of helping people and being part of something new, the front desk sales associate position at our Houston studio is the job for you.

Here’s a “normal” day in the life of a Front Desk Associate:

• Working directly with guests, educating them on the benefits of Current Meditation, and ensuring they have an exceptional experience, by following established processes and scripts.
• Contacting members and guests to invite them in, and actively promoting Current Meditation in the community. You’ll make it your mission to attract new meditators to the brand, and keep them engaged.
• Performing daily tasks and completing transactions in our point-of-sale system.

Here are the competencies & qualifications we require (please read carefully):

• Experience. We look for people with a history of great performance in jobs that require extensive customer interactions and teamwork, like retail and restaurant.
• Self-confidence. You’ll need a strong desire to continually approach and get to know new people, along with a personal drive to help them lead more fulfilling lives.
• Complete commitment to following established procedures. We’re really passionate about our guest experience, so you need to be really comfortable following our processes and scripts.
• ​A genuine interest in meditation and a willingness to practice it. Don't worry if you don't know how – that’s our specialty.
• Dependability and flexibility. You must be able to work mostly evening and weekend shifts, and have a verifiable history of exemplary attendance. Proximity to the studio at West U is a plus.

Compensation:

• Up to $14/hour
