Job Description / SummaryThe HR Administrative Assistant provides direct support to the Human Resources Department and reports directly to the Operations Manager;
assists the administrative team in all Human Resources functions; including but not limited to recruiting, employee relations, benefits, training, employee records, and new hire on-boarding.
The HR Administrative Assistant will need to possess a moderate understanding of daily office functions, be able to multi-task and manage department logistics.
Responsible for answering phones, correspondence, receiving visitors and employees, coordinating special projects, and all other miscellaneous office functions.
Responsibilities : · Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR department.· Handle general HR queries and direct them to the appropriate person.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, trainings and HR events.· Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.· Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing new employee files, and coordinate and lead new hire orientation sessions.
- Update HR databases and ensure all employee information is accurate and current.· Support the HR team in planning and executing employee engagement activities and events.
- Perform other administrative tasks and projects as assigned by the Operations Manager.Job Requirements / Qualifications· High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in a human resources department.· Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).· Familiarity with HR software and databases is a plus.
