Maintenance Technician

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

▪ Complete all repair activities in a safe manner: Repairs will be completed following all Custom-Pak safety requirements and if safety requirements are not known the MT will consult the Maintenance Facilitator and/or Corp. Safety Director before proceeding with any repair.
▪ Support production as requested to keep machines running as designed and safely: Respond promptly to all requests from production to repair plant equipment and machinery. When necessary, direction will be given to leave machinery down until repairs can be made that keep all staff safe.
▪ Complete and close non-essential work orders to improve and repair machinery: Always look for a better, safer way to perform your job.
▪ Complete and close items in PM schedule: Under the direction of the Maintenance Facilitator, the Maintenance Technician Team will keep all PM work orders less than 60 days past due.
▪ Communicate with production management and operators in a positive and constructive manner: Maintenance Technicians will actively seek and gather information from production to ensure that maintenance concerns are resolved.
▪ Maintain building, grounds, and vehicles: As requested by Maintenance Facilitator.
▪ Work alternative shifts and weekends as required: With reasonable notice overtime and/or alternative work hours may be required to minimize production losses for preventative maintenance and repairs.
▪ Communicate with other Maintenance Technicians: Maintenance Technicians will notify each shift of the activities and concerns that developed during their shift.
