Summary
Provides operations focused support to the Vacuum Product Segment in an organized, professional manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Takes messages or fields/answers all routine and non-routine questions.- Initiates contact of staff, and existing and potential customers, identifying their needs.
- Maintain Vacuum Products rental unit spreadsheet
- Uploads all files into Docuware/Salesforce in a timely manner
- Creates files and monitors and updates equipment inventory and storage.
- Reconciles credit card statements and reports monthly.
- Creates expense reports as needed.
- Assist with service/warranty repair paperwork as needed.
- Assists with recall information when needed
- Assists in Chassis/unit orders as needed.
- Tracks chassis and unit orders/deliveries nationally.
- Computer and software proficiency and can quickly adapt to new systems.
- Follows verbal and written communications and communicates effectively with public, customers, co-workers in a professional and courteous manner both orally and in writing.
- Works in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Ability to interface well with all customers, and all departments of the Company and to represent the department in a highly professional manner.
- Responsive to management requests and manages time efficiently.
- Responsible for setting up and maintaining an organized file system.
- Able to work with minimum supervision, capable of self-checking work.
- Ability to learn.
Qualifications include:
- Must possess a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work from home or a designated office location in or near Kansas City, MO
- Ability to travel if needed and schedule permits.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Able to finish projects in a timely manner.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, delivering accurate and polished work.
- Skilled in PC usage and associated software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Ability to learn new software to compliment this function.
- Excellent planning, organizational skills and priority setting skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communications skills.
- Professional appearance and manner, business casual.
Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Requirement
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; to climb stairs, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
