Primary Accountabilities:
Provides financial leadership and direction to the sales teams in the development of annual business plans. Works with cross-functional teams to set targets and deadlines. Develop plans, conduct analyses, measures results, and improve processes.
Provide financial training to all team members regarding customer profitability, product profitability, and trade spend optimization.
Delivers value to the organization with expert financial analysis, business consulting and management of effective business planning. Provides strategic and tactical recommendations to sales teams and management.
Leads financial analysis for determining net present value, return on investment, internal rate of return, and profit. Quantifies opportunities and risk and recommends strategic alternatives.
Conducts research including external benchmarking and utilizes statistical tools and scenario analysis to guide sound financial business decisions.
Communicates complex financial information and concepts to both financial and business leaders to support and influence decision making.
Reviews new business proposals, identifies issues, risk, and opportunities. Executes financial due diligence and explains ramifications of findings and recommendation for project progress.
Assess trade spend effectiveness through return-on-investment analysis and incremental lift associated with promotions to develop recommendations to improve future top & bottom-line performance.
Analysis of month-end results and provides clarity into the main drivers of any deviations.
Ensure application of established corporate controls.

Experience, Knowledge, & Skills You Bring:
4-6 years of experience in corporate finance and/or business analysis.
Strong knowledge of sales fundamentals and trade investment experience.
Exceptional financial modeling and analysis skills.
Customer level reporting and planning (budgeting/forecasting) experience.
Consumer product goods (CPG) industry experience preferred.
Experience with SAP, Business Objects, Hyperion, or other software tools.
