Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Receiving Clerk. As an integral part of our company’s operations, you will be responsible for inspecting shipments, accurately receiving, verifying inbound/outbound shipments, checking shipments for damage and discrepancies, and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Job Overview:
This position will fill a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of
warehouse receiving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Properly account for incoming shipments and deliveries.
- Updating carrier information on truck schedule.
- Comparing packing lists to shipments received and communicating discrepancies.
- Verify shipments arrive with no shortages or damages.
- Communicating shortages and damages to appropriate staff.
- Receiving shipments accurately and efficiently into CORE.
- Assist with cycle counting, when required.
- Manage warehouse supplies inventory.
- Other warehouse duties as required by supervisor or manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3 years’ experience in receiving.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and best practices.
- Able to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Forklift certification and experience a plus.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

Schedule and Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Ability to work full time, 40 hours a week.
- Hours: 7 am – 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday.Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against purchase orders or invoices
- Unload and load trucks using pallet jacks or other equipment
- Inspect packages for damage and report any discrepancies or issues
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and update the MRP system
- Sort and organize received items in designated storage areas
- Assist with picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment
- Operate reach trucks or other equipment to move inventory as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse environment preferred
- Familiarity with basic math skills for inventory counting and verification
- Ability to operate RF scanners and other warehouse technology
- Proficiency in using pallet jacks, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment
- Experience working with AS400 or similar inventory management systems is a plus
