Currently, we are looking to add a civil litigation attorney to our office in the Chicago metropolitan area ideally with 5 years in civil law specifically. We have offices in 5 different states ranging from Kentucky to Wisconsin and aim to be the most trusted law firm within our region. What You Will Be Doing
- Handle strong caseloads from the start of litigation through trial
- Draft pleadings and conduct depositions
- Prepare and respond to written discovery, motions practice, and jury trials
- Supervise full-time paralegal/case manager and work with them on a day-to-day basis
What You Need for this Position
- 5 Years of Experience in Civil Law
- Juris Doctorate
- Illinois Bar License
- Background in drafting Pleadings, conducting Depositions, preparing and responding to Written Discovery, Motions Practice, and Jury Trials
- Competency in Case-Management Software
- Ability to Manage a Large Caseload
