Salary: Up to $135k base 10% bonus

Our Machine Vision Application Engineer combines the role of a Software and Vision Engineering along with high end Application Engineering.
You will first and foremost lead the development of customized turnkey 2D vision & ID solutions for a wide range of industries. These solutions will combine a wide range of technologies including electro-mechanical, database, software, database, optics and lighting.
The top focus for this role is focused on developing software that is used to integrate robotics, PLCs/HMIs, machine vision and motion control systems. With over 80% of our projects being custom R&D projects, no two days will be a like!
In addition you will serve as a high level Application Engineer, traveling to custom sites for complex installs, assisting with highly technical trainings and even maintenance and troubleshooting.
We take pride in developing some of the very best talent with many of our former engineers going on to work at companies like Apple and Google!
Please be advised this role requires up to 20% domestic and international travel

What You Need For This Position
5 or more years of experience developing software applications or machine vision systems utilizing C#, in addition to:
- A.S or B.S. in an Engineering discipline
- Design, build and support software library interfaces to common vision tools
- Basic PLC/HMI understanding
- Reading electrical/mechanical drawings
- Excellent Communication
- Troubleshooting
- Advanced Degree
- Ability to define sensors, lighting and optics for solving machine vision problems
- Field/Service/Application Engineering experience
- Preventative Maintenance
- Basic electrical skills
- Basic mechanical skills
